Promise
Promise is our first horse.
She is a 20 something, 16 hands high mare, dun/bay, mare. She can sometimes be a bit opinionated, stubborn, dramatic, and jumpy...just like a mare.
She loves pumpkins and enjoys working most of the time. She adores our dog Tucker and has separation anxiety when she can't see him.
She is doing really good with our kid-proofing right now (which I'll post about later). She does have a little arthritis, which she manages very well with consistent exercise. In summer she loves to graze in the yard and we even let her free range-if she ever gets to close to the driveway Tucker herds her back up. She also really loves drinking water straight from the hose.
She is definitely the boss over our other horse; she is the alpha mare.
All in all she is a pretty great horse and we really love her, even if she sometimes can be a troublemaker.
