Getting a Christmas tree is always a family tradition. We always go traipsing into the forest somewhere and look for a tree. Sometimes we look in a few different places and then choose our favorite.
This year, we first went to the ball diamond about half a mile from our house and a pretty good one caught our eye. Then we went hiking near lower trail lake and found two possibilities.
We all went out and when we went to Lower Trail Lake we found our tree....none of the ones we had found before. But it's actually one of the nicest we've had before-large, green, and bushier than some past.
